National Golf Day is the American Golf Industry Coalition's signature advocacy event of the year. In 2023, National Golf Day will celebrate its 15th anniversary as a coalition of golf industry leaders.

The first recorded game of golf was played in Scotland in the 15th century, however, it was by a very obscure person. Several people neglected their military training as the English invasion approached due to their intense enthusiasm for golf. The Community Service Project (CSP) will return on Tuesday, May 9th to kick off the event. The CSP, in collaboration with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the National Park Service, will provide attendees with the opportunity to participate in various beautification projects on the National Mall.
